Museum of classic vehicles
The Museum of Historic Vehicles and Old Agricultural Machinery is located in private premises in the village of Pořežany. The village lies at the crossroads between Hluboká nad Vltavou – Zámostí and Týn nad Vltavou (along the road on the right bank of the Vltava River through the Nová Obora game reserve) and between Ševětín and Týn nad Vltavou.
The museum displays trucks and passenger cars, horse-drawn carriages, buggies, sleighs, motorcycles, bicycles, old agricultural machinery, tools, a traditional farmhouse room, and models of trains, cars, and airplanes. All of this can be seen on 1,800 square meters of exhibition space in a three-storey building. One of the exhibits is also a carriage used in the fairy-tale film Princess from the Mill.
Carriages are available for hire for film productions, weddings, and various events.
A new permanent exhibition on the history of Neznašov Castle and the noble Berchtold family of Uherčice has recently been installed on the second floor.
Opening hours:
Open all year round from 9:00 to 17:00
Including public holidays, except Mondays.
