Zoopark Na Hrádečku
Since 2016 we have been a private licensed zoological garden with an area of 10 hectares, located between the villages of Dolní Pěna and Horní Pěna near Jindřichův Hradec. You can find more than 200 species of animals here, many of which are classified as endangered and are protected by the CITES convention. Here you will meet representatives of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. Among our largest predators are lions and hyenas. From primates we keep, for example, some of the smallest monkeys in the world, the clawed monkeys, in eight species. An interesting collection is formed by poison dart frogs, which can be found here in 15 species. From the world of parrots, a shared exhibit of two species of macaws is particularly interesting. The reptile collection is very extensive and represents the largest number of species kept in our zoo.
The zoo is open all year round. During the summer holidays visitors can take part in guided tours and animal feeding.
