Bertiny Spa

Bertiny Spa has a very long tradition in Třeboň. It was founded in 1883 by the teacher Václav Hucek, who introduced the use of the local natural healing resource – Třeboň peat, which is used for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, rheumatic diseases, post-traumatic and post-operative conditions, and for overall regeneration of body and mind.

The spa complex is connected to a park, and the Zlatá stoka canal flows directly in front of the entrance. The accommodation capacity of Bertiny Spa consists of single rooms, double rooms and apartments, offering 186 beds in 102 rooms. Additional accommodation is available in nearby annex buildings within comfortable walking distance.

During treatment, Bertiny Spa follows its historical tradition. The main healing resource is Třeboň peat, which has beneficial effects on the body. It warms the body evenly, has positive effects on the skin, relieves pain and shortens recovery time for patients with musculoskeletal problems. Visitors can also enjoy various massages, baths and wraps.

As in every modern spa, the Bertiny Spa complex also offers restaurants, bars, a swimming pool, a sauna and a modern sports park with opportunities for active recreation such as tennis, volleyball, squash, fitness, bowling and table tennis.
