Trip around Munický Pond

Are you looking for a trip that you can easily do on foot or by bike, with a stroller or with a small children? A round trip around Munický Pond is approximately 10 km long and runs along flat terrain and offer pleasant walk or ride through the South Bohemia nature.

Step-by-step: 

• The start in the center of Hluboká: The trip begins right in the center of Hluboká nad Vltavou. From that, head toward Munický Pond and join the marked bicycle trail No. 1051(for those on foot marked with a yellow hiking trail marker). 
• Along the pond near Zoo: The path winds through pleasent surroundings, staying close to the pond's shore the entire way. Without turning off, you will pass by the Souht Bohemian Zoo.
• To the Vondrov Estate and around Pheasantry: Continue straight ahead on bike path No. 1051. The path will take you all the way to the Vondrov Estate. Continuing along the same path, you will see on your right the Hluboká Pheasantry.
• Return to Hluboká: At the fork you will turn right. Continue along the marked trail (Cycle Route 1051/yellow hiking trail marker) complete the round trip and return comfortably to the center of Hluboká nad Vltavou.
