Pasta Oner (* 1979), one of the most outstanding contemporary artists of the Czech visual scene, reflects in a long-term and systematically his current pop culture society. His works present in the media-rich spectrum of visual language the present-day assemblage forms of narrative. Significantly charged images draw not only from the ubiquitous global fascination with the world of wealth, luxury brands and consumerism, but also follow the footsteps of various forms of spiritual transcendence or inner corners of faith, uncovering a number of personal and pop mythologies, exploring subconscious desires and reminiscences of human sexuality.
