The NAGA Foundation Gallery in Hluboká nad Vltavou invites you to an exhibition - a unique cycle of 30 paintings by prof. Milan Knížák. The image cycle presents 30 portraits of personalities who have influenced world science, art, philosophy or politics. Individual portraits are accompanied by the author's personal comment.

"In this set of portraits, there are people who stuck in my memory, either good or bad, they are something important to me, they symbolize a certain type, epoch, break.

I only had their small and imperfect photos at my disposal, I usually don't know what their hair color was, not my eyes at all.

I assigned them colors and attributes the way I felt when I started painting them. ''

The exhibition runs from April to the end of May. Beware of the change in the opening hours of the gallery, which is now from 1 pm to 7 pm every day.
