Autumn has arrived, and yet Hluboká Castle still welcomes visitors. It used to be a tradition that the castle gates were closed to tourists on October 31st and people waited until April 1st of the following year... However, the temperature-controlled rooms allow the castle staff to welcome those interested in a tour even in the cold season. There is a lot to offer. Gradually, rooms were installed that are more intimate. In most of the ground floor, which is offered for viewing by the winter castle tour, there were private suites of the last four generations of owners of the Hluboká estate. First, we will go to the Hamilton salon. Already in the hallway, in addition to trophies and graphic sheets from the 18th century with the theme of hunting, we can notice framed photographs of members of the princely Schwarzenberg family. The hunting motif also accompanies us in other rooms, the smoking salon and the small dining room of Theresia. Next comes the sumptuous hunting dining room, the preparation room, the small dining room of Dr. Adolf, his study, living room and bedroom.

The winter route of Hluboká Castle will open for you on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
You can visit the air-conditioned rooms on the ground floor of the castle every day except Monday from 9:00 to 16:00 (the start of the last tour).
The lunch break at the box office is from 12:00 to 12:30.
