Mitch (Dwayne Johnson) is a guy like a mountain with a strong moral compass and a 100% fervor for the work of a water rescuer. It's just the opposite of Matt Brody (Zac Efron), a former successful Olympian, whose glory has so risen in his head that after a never-ending series of trouble, under Mitch's command as a lifeguard, he has to decimate a few dozen hours of publicly beneficial work. Matt, however, has the same ego as biceps, and he does not take such a warning of fate very seriously. Instead of waking over beach lagging, he stares at the neckline of another newcomer in the team, the beautiful but withdrawn Summer (Alexandra Daddario). Under other circumstances, Mitch would have given him, but now he does not have time for it, because the problems began to rise on the beach. There is a sealed bag of drugs in the sea ... And since the local police are totally overlooked, a bunch of lifeguards will be taken to a criminal mission that can not end well unless one of its members stops sabotaging everything. (CinemArt)
