Valerian (Dane DeHaan) and Laureline (Cara Delevigne) are special government agents for managing human territories and their task is to maintain order throughout the universe. Valerian has more than just professional intentions with his colleague, constantly bombarding her with love suggestions. But the legacy of his relationship with women and the conservative attitude of Laureline lead him to constantly reject him. At the command of Commander (Clive Owen), Valerian and Laureline are on a joint mission to the enormous intergalactic Alpha City.
