Marta Tabery, a sculptor and ceramist, is one of the prominent personalities of this art category in the post-war Czech generation. Born in Olomouc, she is now fully established in Prague by her existence and work. After studying at secondary industrial schools in Železný Brod and Prague, she gained a solid art education at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, in the studio of Professor Otto Eckert (1949-1954). In her own atelier work, recognized at home and abroad, she has done her professional life so far.
