We are preparing a walking tour of the historical sights of Hluboká for you. These are 7 stops at selected places, the history of which is inextricably linked with Hluboka. At the same time, it is a collection of thematic coins that you can buy directly at selected places or in the Hluboká nad Vltavou Infocentre, together with a collection cassette in which you can store coins.

Hluboká State Chateau
Originally the royal castle Hluboká (Frauenberg) from the 13th century founded by Přemysl Otakar II. with an extensive castle park and castle waterworks.

South Bohemian Zoo Hluboká nad Vltavou
It was established on the shore of the Munich Pond in 1939, originally as part of the museum next to the Ohrada hunting lodge by the decision of the then owner of the Hluboká estate, Dr. Adolf Schwarzenberg.

Monument to Záviš of Falkenstein
The Czech nobleman Záviš of Falkenstein from the Vítkovec family was executed by beheading on July 4, 1290, probably in a meadow on the right bank of the Vltava below Hluboká Castle. The monument was built by Prince Adolf Josef of Schwarzenberg in 1895.

Church of St. Jan Nepomucký
The first building stone was laid in 1845. The church was dedicated to St. Jan Nepomucký, patron of the Schwarzenberg family.

Hunting lodge Ohrada
The Museum of Forestry, Hunting and Fishing is the oldest hunting museum in Europe. The first museum collections of hunting trophies and stuffed animals were placed in the baroque Ohrada chateau as early as 1842.

Charles Castle near Purkarec
Founded by Charles IV. as a representative symbol of royal power in southern Bohemia. The first mention dates from 1357. The picturesque ruins are located in the woods on a promontory above the Vltava River near Purkarec.
